Finedon Schools cater for children from 4 to 11 years old (4-7 Infants and 7-11 Juniors). Parents are warmly invited to visit the schools to see us in action.
How do I apply for my child to have a place at Finedon Schools?
We follow the defined process that is set by the North Northamptonshire Council. Therefore you must make your application to them:
- You must apply directly to the North Northamptonshire Council for a place at either of our schools.
- You can apply at any time for an in-year admission and the County Council Admissions Team will allocate you a place if we have a space.
If your child is due to start school in September 2025, the closing date for applications was the 15th January 2025. See key dates and deadlines.

If your child is in year 2 of an infant school and turns 7 between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025, you need to apply for a junior school place by 15 January 2025. After this deadline you will need to make a late application.

Our Published Admission Number for 2026-27 is 54 in Reception.
Our Published Admission Number for 2025-26 is 45 in Reception.

If your child is unsuccessful in gaining a place at Finedon, please contact the School Administrator and ask to be put onto the waiting list.
